A Guide to Child Support Spousal Maintenance Cost-of-Living Adjustments

This guide should be used only for court orders that were issued in the state of Minnesota. If your divorce or child support order is from another state, you cannot use this guide.

Note: New child support laws went into effect in Minnesota on January 1, 2007. On the Department of Human Services website you can view a Fact Sheet on the new laws or use an online calculator to estimate child support under the new rules.
